COSHH
COSHH Awareness Training gives employees an understanding of the requirements and promotes safe working practices.
Using hazardous substances can put the safety of your workers and/or their long-term health at risk. The law requires employers to control exposure to hazardous substances to protect employees and other persons who may be harmed, in accordance with the COSHH regulations
Course duration: 4 hours
First Aid at work
This course meets requirements to train First Aiders within the workplace for both low and high-risk environments. PTP’s First aid at work courses are recognised as a Level 3 qualification and are regulated by OfQual. We are approved training providers with the awarding body Qualsafe Awards and QNUK which means there is no additional requirement for your organisation to check due diligence when you choose PTP as your training provider. This also gives peace of mind that your employees receive training to required standards.

Emergency First Aid
This course meets requirements for training employees to take on the role of Emergency First Aiders or Appointed Persons where this has been identified in your first aid needs assessment. The Emergency first aid at Work training is recognised as a Level 2 qualification on the OfQual framework and certificates are awarded by Qualsafe Awards. Pulse Training Partnership (PTP) are approved training providers with the awarding body Qualsafe Awards and QNUK, therefore there is no additional requirement for your organisation to check due diligence when you choose PTP as your training provider.

First Aid annual refresher course
This half-day course First Aid Annual Refresher Course provides the opportunity for qualified First Aiders to practice and refresh their skills and knowledge. This course covers Basic Life Support (BLS) and is suitable for employees who are required by their employer to have BLS training.
Course duration: 3 hours
First Aid at work re-qualification
Current holders of the First Aid at Work certificate are required to attend the 2 day First aid at work requalification course every 3 years to maintain their first aider status. Elements covered are as per the 3 day First Aid at Work Course. PTP’s First aid at work courses are recognised as a Level 3 qualification and are regulated by OfQual. PTP are approved training providers with the awarding body Qualsafe Awards and QNUK which means there is no additional requirement for your organisation to check due diligence when you choose PTP as your training provider.

Health and Safety awareness training
This Health and Safety Awareness Training Course has been designed to provide essential knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements in the workplace, to help reduce risks and prevent accidents and ill health arising from workplace activities.
This course is suitable for anyone who needs to gain an understanding of the requirements under health and safety legislation with an emphasis on practical application of safe working within the organisation and learner’s job role.

Risk Assessments training
Health and Safety is all about taking sensible precautions – planning and prevention.
To comply with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, all businesses are required to conduct risk assessments, where tasks and activities undertaken have the potential for significant harm. Risk assessments should provide a systematic and consistent approach to enable identification of potential hazards and effective control measures to prevent or reduce the likelihood of injury or harm occurring.
This risk assessment course provides an understanding of legislative requirements along with the practical application of carrying out a risk assessment in your workplace.
Course duration: 1 day
Manual handling training
Manual handling accidents account for a large proportion of back injury compensation claims and if the accident is a result of a lack of relevant training, a claim for compensation can be made against the employer. These incidents account for around 33% of all workplace accidents.
This training is interactive, incorporating a mix of discussion, group work and practical demonstration.
